Johnny Lee Hall

1962-2020

Johnny Lee Hall born June 2, 1962 departed this life October 4, 2020. He was a member of Iron Hill Missionary Baptist Church and loved his church family. Johnny accomplished a lot in his life time. Kind of a Jack of all Trades. He served in the army for 2 years and went from Carpenter, to Mechanic, to Certified Nursing Assistant to LPN that he loved. He had compassion and loved his patients who was his family away from home. 

John enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. Whatever they wanted John tried to see that they got it and more. Everyone that has met John has good things to say about him. John’s hobbies were collecting tools and watching auctions so he could find more tools. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter Snowy Brooke Hall that welcomed him with open arms as he walked through Heavens Gates. He is survived by his wife of 40 years that was his high school sweetheart, Cloma Jean Elliott Hall, two sons, Johnny Gene Hall (Francesca) of Rush Ky. Michael Hall (Torie) of Grayson Ky and one daughter Kristy Dawn Thompson (Jeremy) all of Grayson KY, and a daughter at heart, Kelli Scott. Ten grandchildren Austin Wyatt Thompson, Alexis LeDawn Thompson, Caitlyn Paige Hall, Christina Rae Roberts, Braylee Rose Roberts, Lindsey Renee Roberts, Alyssa Rianne Roberts, Bentley Scott Hall, Isabella Marie Wilburn, Cole Alexander Covert, his closest brother Joe Lee Hall, and sister Florence Rae Pack. His Father-in-law and mother-in-law Lowell & Jewell Elliott of Grayson, Ky. One brother-in-law Lowell (Angel) Elliott, one Sister-in-law Loretta (Ernie)Hall, Nephews Trey Elliott, Quincy Elliott, Kyle (Jamie) McCown, Nieces Tabitha (Kyle) Stewart and Rebecca Hall. A host of other family and friends will morn his passing. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, Kentucky, with Brother Lowell Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2020, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, we ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
