1970-2020
Mr. Phillip “Marcus” Stephens, age 50, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods, Kentucky.
He was born January 8, 1970, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of Donald (Molly) Stephens of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Deborah Keaton of Franklin, Kentucky.
Marcus was of the Church of God faith and he enjoyed listening to music, driving out in the country, cutting up with folks and was an avid U.K. Basketball and football fan.
He was preceded in death by one brother, James Todd Stephens.
In addition to his parents, Marcus is survived by one son, Keaton Stephens of Grayson, Kentucky; two daughters, Deborah Davidson and Mary Stephens, both of Grayson, Kentucky; one grandson, Emory Staley; and three sisters, Dawnetta Renovato of Franklin, Kentucky, Sara Kiser of Flatwoods, Kentucky, and Christa Taylor of Olive Hill, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Clifford Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
