Mrs. Lois Mae Meade Miller, age 81, of Grayson, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, Kentucky.
She was born May 1, 1941, in Lawrence County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late John Paul and Florence Sparks Meade.
Lois was a faithful member of Huff”s Run Church. She enjoyed going to church and singing for the Lord, and spending time with her family and friends and her pet dogs.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Garrett Hazlett; one brother, John Paul Meade Jr.; three sisters Eunice Fletcher, Maude Ellen Crabtree and Phyllis Smith.
Lois is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jim Miller; two sons, Tom Miller and his wife, Sherri of Rush, Kentucky and Ron Miller and Kim of Grayson, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Stephen Miller, Stephanie Conley, Derek Hazlett, Kelsi Conley, Nicole Burriss and Casey Miller; thirteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one sister, Janice Chaffin of Louisa, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends that will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Delmar Rogers and Brother Lester Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Rogers Messer Cemetery on Huff’s Run.
Friends may visit after 12 noon, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 and until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
Tom Miller, Ron Miller, Casey Miller, Stephen Miller, Jesse Burriss and Justin Conley will serve as pallbearers.
