Nicky Wagoner, age 65, of Rush, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Monday, March 9, 1959, in Boyd County, Kentucky, to the late Estill “Doc” and Ester Wagoner.
Nicky was a member of Three Pine Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, collecting coins, race cars, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Veronica Conley Wagoner; one son, Chris (Crystal) Wagoner of Hallsummit, Louisiana; one daughter, Tiffany (Joshua) Long of Ashland, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Allen (Sharon) Wagoner of Carter City, Kentucky; one sister, Evelyn (Arcus) Lawhorn of Olive Hill, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Garvin Ridge Cemetery, in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024, and after 9 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
James Wagoner, P.J. Stevens, Jacob Long, Brenton Long, Dusty Clonley, David Conely, Christian Cordle will serve as pallbearers.
