Wanda Lee Blevins Wilburn, age 93, of Grahn, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at Community Hospice Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
She was born Friday, March 6, 1931, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late James Arthur and Cordia Wilson Blevins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Charles Wilburn; one son, Charles Mitchell Wilburn; three brothers, Keith Blevins, Colan “Cokie”Blevins, Arthur “Junior” Blevins; four sisters, Evelyn Simones, Nina Morrison, Ines Hensley and Laverne Gipson.
Wanda is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Wilburn and Judy of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Scotty Wilburn and Christy of Morehead, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Miranda (Wanda) McCulley, Tiffany (Steve) Meek, Damien Wilburn, Fallon (Daniel) Watson, Erin Wilburn and Colby Wilburn ; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Blevins of Grayson, Kentucky; one sister, Katy Mays of Ashland, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Elanor Wilburn, many nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Kentucky Veterans’ Cemetery North East in Greenup, Kentucky, with Brother Gary Sparks officiating.
Friends may visit from 12 noon until 1 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel
