Rodney Junior Miller, age 69, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.
He was born Sunday, October 10, 1954, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Burgess and Lula Irene Logan Miller.
Rodney enjoyed singing, joking, playing his guitar and spending time with his brothers and sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Miller, Von Loy Miller and one sister, Nancy Brumley.
Rodney is survived by one son, Jeffery Miller of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two daughters, Rhonda Roberts of Morehead, Kentucky, Loretta Miller of Grayson, Kentucky; one brother, Owen (Karen Sue)Miller of Olive Hill, Kentucky; six sisters, Betty (Albert) Butler of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Diane (John) Satterfield, of Mansfield, Ohio, Sandy Boggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Venia Jean (Chuck) Jordan of Owingsville, Kentucky; Glenda Giesler of Oxford, Ohio and Valentenia (Verl) Boggs of Grayson, Kentucky; companion and care giver, Roberta Humbarger, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Rick Crank officiating. Burial will follow in Dean Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and after 9 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
