Mrs. Rosie Lee Lucas Adams, age 69, of Webbville, Kentucky, arrived in heaven Friday, June 9, 2023.
She was born Sunday, April 4, 1954, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Everett and Cresia Glancy Lucas.
Rosie was a member of the Freedom Tabernacle Church. She loved working in her flowers, farming and always ready to do the bush hogging on the family farm, playing bingo, making crafts, antiques and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph David Adams; one brother, Eugene Lucas; four sisters, Betty Lucas, Deloris Lucas, Virgie Lucas and Patty Skaggs.
Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Roy T. Adams; one son, Tommy Adams of Lawrence County, Kentucky; three daughters, April Rutherford and Arlene Evans both of Grayson, Kentucky, Lisa Webb of Lawrence County, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Steven, Jessica, Makenzie, Cade, Ronnie, and Heather; two great grandchildren; Easton and Braxton; two brothers, Ricky Lucas and Tommy Lucas both of Grayson, Kentucky; one sister, Bonnie Lucas of Grayson, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral Services will be held, 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Freedom Tabernacle in Webbville, Kentucky with Brother Tom Riffe officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2023 and after 9 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2023, until the service hour at Freedom Tabernacle.
Rosie’s family will serve as pallbearers.
