Tommie Gee, age 88, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Tuesday, March 17, 1936, in Hampton, Tennessee, to the late John W. and Ella Mae Trivett Gee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Donna Jean Hignite Gee; one brothers, Donald Wayne Gee; one daughter, Vicky Lynn Gee; three sisters, Josephine Gee, Veronice Gee Collins and Betty Raybourn.
Tommie was willing to work on and fix anything, he had a knack for figuring things out. He loved camping, fishing, golfing and was a fan of NASCAR. He adored his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, but most of all, he loved his “woman”, Donna Jean Gee.
Tommie is survived by two sons, Ricky Allen (Becky) Gee of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Michael Thomas Gee (Laura Mullins) of Georgetown, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Ashley (Thomas) Painter, Lesley (Steven) Heinlein and April (Corbin) Maynard; 3 great-grandchildren, Addalyn Heinlein, Levin Heinlein and Catherine Painter; two sisters, Virginia Luncan and Orlia Ann Duncan both of Olive Hill, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Jr. O.U.A. M. Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Keith McGuire and Brother Greg Hignite officiating.
