Mrs. Virginia Mae “Virgie” Fultz Dixon, age 97, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, July 31, 2023 at Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation in Grayson, Kentucky.
She was born September 14, 1925 in Carter County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Davis Fultz.
Virgie was of the Christian Faith. She loved cooking, going to flea markets, going out to eat and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty years, Bill Dixon; one son, Donnie Dixon; two brothers, Chester Fultz and Walter Fultz; two sisters, Essie Fultz and Hazel Fultz; one grandson, Michael Ray Dixon.
She is survived by one son, Billy Dixon of Carlisle, Kentucky; two daughters, Carolyn Burger and Connie Chambers both of Olive Hill, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, August 4, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel at 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Clyde Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 10 a.m. on Friday until the service hour, Friday, August 4, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
