Mr. Willie Archer, age 86, of Lawton, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, Kentucky.
He was born Friday, June 18, 1937, in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Howard C. And Ettie Ferguson Archer.
Willie loved going to auctions, hunting, loafing with his buddies and spending time with his neighbors, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Archer, Corbie Archer and Robert Archer; two sisters, Dora Starbuck and Barbara Alice Archer.
He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Archer Adkins of Ashland, Kentucky and Gale Bryant and her husband, Curtiss, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with his friend, Arthur Rabourn and Brother Clyde Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Cemetery at Lawton, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2023, and after 9 a.m. until the service hour, Monday, July 3, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
