Mr. Phillip Darrell Fitch, age 70, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at his residence.
He was born Monday, July 14, 1952, in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Paul and Neola Pendlum Fitch.
Phillip enjoyed watching car races and ballgames.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Fitch Knell and one brother Wilbur Fitch.
Phillip is survived by his granddaughter, Evangeline Knell of Owingsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Harold Fitch of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Paul (Gerldene) Fitch of Centerton, Arkansas and Danny Fitch of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two sisters Barbara Cline of Ontario, Ohio and Donna White of Olive Hill, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother J.C. Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Cliff Estep, Chuck Everman, Cody Berger, Danny Fitch, Paul Fitch and Scott Fitch will serve as pallbearers.
Billy “Cathair” Waggoner will serve as honorary pallbearer.
