Mrs. Betty Lorene Maggard Waugh, age 80, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Sunday, July 11, 1943, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Burgess Lee and Lilly Marie Spillman Maggard.
Betty was a Christian and a stay at home Mom. She enjoyed talking on the phone to her daughter and her sister.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Minnard Waugh; three sisters, Cynthia Boggs, Darlene Conn and Bessie Smith.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Waugh of Woodstock, Georgia; one sister, Barbara Conn of Olive Hill, Kentucky and two grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Bradley Cemetery, on Dry Branch with Brother Clifford “Tippy” Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery.
