Mr. Leonard Logan Jr., age 88 of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at his residence.
He was born November 20, 1933 in Carter County, Kentucky a son of the late Leonard and Kate Tomlin Logan.
Leonard retired from CommonWealth Insurance Company. He was a Member of First Baptist Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching UK Basketball and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Janice Eden Logan; one son, Leonard Logan III; one brother, George Logan; three sisters, Christine Stevens, Ruby Jordan, Allene Boggs; five half sisters, Avonel Sparks, Thelma Easterling, Stella Brown, Brenda Stevens and Louise Stafford.
He is survived by two sons, John (Sheila) Logan of Yorktown, Virginia, Joe (Leisha) Logan of Olive Hill, Kentucky; six grandchilden; two great grandchildren; one brother Clyde (Elaine) Logan of Mansfield, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel at 17277 US Hwy. 60 West, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Logan Cemetery on Rose Ridge in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2022 until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
