Mr. Michael Mosier, age 70, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on, December 17, 2021.
Michael was born March 19, 1951, in Carter County, Kentucky, to Christine Carroll Mosier and the late Stearl Mosier.
He was a member of Providence Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to church, hunting, fishing, listening to bluegrass music, and spending time with family, and especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Dale “Boo” Mosier and Donald Ray Mosier, two sisters, Rita Lynn Mosier and Joan Carroll.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Etta Sue Knipp Mosier, one son, Christopher Mosier and Melissa, Grayson, Kentucky, one daughter, Angela Withrow and James, Grayson, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, Megan Holbrook, Erin Stapleton, Savanna Craft, Heather Waddell, Lexi Mosier, Shayla Marshall, Alyssa Greer, Catilin Withrow, seven great-grandchildren, Anaya, Jace, Clay, Abby, Nash, Kennedy, Finn, two sisters, Judy Wilburn and Cliff, Flatwoods, Kentucky, Connie Fife and David, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Chris Mosier, and Brother Bobby Day.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel, in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
David Gifford, Danny Gifford, Darren Carroll, Donnie Walker, Mike Hatton, Chad Gilbert will serve as pallbearers.
George Barker and Bill Gilbert will serve as honorary pallbearers.
