William Joe Mullins, age 84, of Denton, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born Wednesday, April 21, 1938 in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Raymond Mullins and Nettie Marcum Mullins.
William was of the Baptist Faith. He loved his animals, enjoyed farming, fishing, watching Cincinnati Reds and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Glen Mullins, Bob Mullins, Balis “Mutt” Mullins and Homer “Hawkeye” Mullins; one sister Hazel Hall and two infant sisters, Freda Mullins and Mildred Mullins.
William is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Roxanne Gilbert Campbell Mullins: two sons, Raymond Joe Mullins and his wife, Rosetta, Jamie Mullins and his wife, Jennifer all of Denton, Kentucky; two daughters, Glenna Burton and Stephen of Rush, Kentucky and Drenna Moore and Eddie of Hitchens, Kentucky; one sister, Carolyn Sue Mullins of Denton, Kentucky: five grandchildren, Bobby Burton, Shelbie Green, Amber Mullins, Isabella Mullins and Isaiah Mullins; three great grandchildren, Aubree Rose Rodgers, Paisley Green and Lyla Green, along with many other family and friends that will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Larry Garvin and Brother Raymond Joe Mullins officiating, Burial will follow in the Cooksey Cemetery at Denton, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 and until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
